01

A smile designed around you

Veneers are thin coverings for the front of teeth. At Payne & King, the conversation begins with your goals: a small gap, an uneven edge, a shade you would like to change. Dr. Traci King explains the possibilities in her video below.

02

The health of your teeth comes first

Your dentist evaluates your teeth, gums and bite before recommending a cosmetic plan. Some smiles need treatment or alignment first. Veneers that require enamel removal are an irreversible commitment; we will discuss preparation, upkeep and alternatives before you decide.

03

Make room for the right questions

Bring examples of what you like, but also tell us what you want to keep. Ask how many teeth would be involved, whether preparation is needed and how the proposed shade fits your smile. Your written treatment plan can clarify the cost and sequence of care.

Meet Traci King, DDS

A few good questions.

Are veneers the same as crowns?

No. Veneers cover the front surface of a tooth; a crown covers more of it. The condition of the tooth helps determine which approach makes sense.

Can I have veneers without shaving my teeth?

Some patients may be candidates for no-prep veneers. Healthy teeth, tooth size, spacing and your bite all matter. An exam is the starting point.

How much do veneers cost?

The number of teeth, preparation and any care needed beforehand affect the plan. We will discuss an estimate for your own smile before treatment.
